I can proudly say that I was apart of that trip this summer but not wasn’t in the same group as the ones you met while at the Rodeo. My group disturbed the peace of Cody Wyoming only 2 days later.
It honestly is a trip of a lifetime and you would think you would get tired of hitting the road in the wee hours (have 90 teens up at 4:30 in the morning is not an easy thing to do) of the morning day after day It didn’t and if I asked any TWB participant they would say that they would give anything just to be back on that bus.

Glad we made your trip more memorable

Oddly enough, we don’t eat much meat either. Our church heavily believes in a vegan lifestyle – and although we are not totally vegetarians, we rearely eat read meat. Mostly chicken or fish, never fried, hardly ever do the fast food thing, and eat lots of vegetables, fruits, tofu, and nuts when we can afford it. Eating healthy is not cheap! All thepotlucks at church (weekly) are always vegan to promote a healthier lifestyle. I’m glad that you are feeling good about yourself! You go girl!!!!

I work full time during the day which keeps me busy – but coming home to an empty house takes getting use to (Ed works night shift and doesn’t get home till about 2:30 in the morning). I noticed that I have time to get all the things done that I have put off over the years. One of the big prjects that I am working on now is scanning all my 35mm pictures into the computer and organizing them. It is fun looking back at all the old pictures – the different hairstyles – the clothes – what were we thinking back then :) But nothing replaces that hug that I miss so deeply – even the phone calls during the week are wonderful – but it’s simply not the same. I can’t wait for next week – both the girls will be home Wed night for the Thanksgiving holidays and will be with me till Sunday…..I will definitely have lots of pics up on my blog of this much needed reunion!!!!! (I found some pics of me and you when we were little – I will get them scanned soon)
